PoC demo presents enhanced connectivity solutions for unserved and underserved communities
Ciena (NYSE: CIEN), a global leader in networking systems, services, and software, will showcase its latest broadband access innovations at , taking place July 28–31 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville. Through a series of technology demonstrations and speaking sessions, show attendees can learn how Ciena’s broadband solutions, which include PON pluggables, purpose-built routers, and subscriber management and network control software, give network operators greater flexibility to build and evolve access networks.

- Empowering Connectivity: A Collaborative Approach to Overcoming Broadband Challenges in Unserved and Underserved Communities – Ciena is teaming up with , , and to demonstrate how vendors can cooperate to conquer the challenges presented by diverse geographies and demanding applications to deliver affordable, sustainable, and high-value broadband services.
Broadband Access Demonstrations (booth #653):
- Building a Flexible Last-Mile Network – Ciena will show how operators can deliver adaptable, scalable, and sustainable broadband services anywhere using its XGS-PON pluggable optical line terminals (micro-OLTs), optical network units (ONUs), and access routers.
- Scaling and Managing End-to-End Broadband Services Easily – This demo will show how Ciena’s Navigator Network Control Suite enables operators to simplify operations and reduce opex with one point of control for broadband infrastructure, services, and subscriber lifecycle management.
- Ciena Services for Broadband Access – Ciena Services will demonstrate how operators can accelerate time to market while reducing risk with robust end-to-end services to design, build, market, and support broadband networks.
